"A person can believe all day but without movement you will have no results."-Jamilia Moore
There is an old African proverb I heard my grandmother say when she was alive, my grandmother was a Louisiana native and this is something she will always say"Either you is or you ain't child". Sounds funny and very uneducated but a woman with education as her explained what it meant in a term I understood, she simply said to me a curious child who asked a lot of questions "Whatever you say you are going to do do it, whatever you don't want to do don't say it, and never make a promise you can't keep." Simple huh? Wrong, not as simple as you think. If you tell somebody you are going to do something they expect you to do it, but what happens when you can't do it? Things happen, our plans are sometimes delayed and detoured but guess what you still have to move on. There will be pit falls in life, you will stumble a little, you will make mistakes, you will try to keep what you say to people but never the less don't give up and never stop going. If you can't keep what you said to a person apologize and still try to see it through even if it's late and at another time still do it. Always remember time is valuable, time is needed and time is important. Whether you believe in God, a higher power or whatever your religion is we all have a time, a time to be born, a time to live and a time to die and with that being said if you are reading this you are alive so live your dreams, live your life and never quit. Roll your sleeves up and work until you get what you want. We determine our life and how we live it. Actions always over power a persons word. Live what you say, pray, believe, and take actions..... ("Either you is or you ain't child").
